Job summary

Corning is seeking a Summer Corporate Sustainability Intern to join the global sustainability team. You will engage in data collection and analysis, use AI tools to draft responses for reporting programs, and help reduce greenhouse gas emissions aligned with corporate targets.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or MS in environmental science, engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong interest in sustainability, climate, environmental and social issues.
• Be willing to work in person at the posted job location.

Responsibilities

• Lead data collection and analysis for sustainability reporting programs using AI tools.
• Align energy utilization data for materials produced.
• Develop training materials for sustainability professionals.
• Support data collection from business units and sites to generate insights.
• Help visualize and track sustainability progress, requirements, and stakeholder needs.
• Collaborate with Global Supply Management to assess suppliers’ GHG emissions.
• Support resource efficiency and waste reduction efforts.
