Job summary

Sigma Earth is seeking an ESG Analyst to analyse ESG data and ratings for companies and investments, supporting CSRD and EU Taxonomy reporting. You will research sustainability trends, help integrate ESG criteria into investment and risk management, and prepare materials for internal stakeholders.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field, plus initial ESG experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint. German and English language skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Sustainability, Economics, Environmental Management, or related field.
  • Experience in ESG or sustainability-related roles is desirable.
  • Strong analytical abilities and interest in sustainable finance.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse ESG data and sustainability ratings of companies and investments.
  • Support ESG reporting activities (e.g., CSRD, EU Taxonomy, SFDR).
  • Conduct research on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Assist in integrating ESG criteria into investment and risk management processes.
  • Prepare presentations, analyses, and decision-making materials for internal stakeholders.
  • Support impact assessments and sustainability evaluations of projects.
