Job summary

Blackstone is seeking a Sustainability Associate for its BXCI business, located in New York. The role focuses on driving sustainability initiatives, data analysis, reporting, and engagement with portfolio companies and stakeholders.

Qualifications include 2+ years in finance or sustainability, strong communication and analytical skills, and proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel. Base salary range is $120,000–$150,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of work experience in Banking, Research, Consulting, Finance, or Sustainability.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative abilities.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Significant interest in the sustainability space.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and to completion.

Responsibilities

• Drive sustainability initiatives across BXCI as part of the Value Creation and Sustainability Team.
• Interface with senior BXCI members and other areas of the firm.
• Lead sustainability data collection, analysis, presentation and reporting.
• Monitor sustainability risk across portfolios, including due diligence research and industry trends.
• Support investor reporting and external facing sustainability materials, including Article 8 reporting.
