Job summary

Vertiv in Columbus, Ohio, seeks an Engineer Manager for DPP, EUBR and EPR programs to lead strategy, development, and implementation of digital product dossiers across lifecycle. You will bridge cross-functional teams and oversee data integration to meet regulatory obligations.

Collaborating with global sustainability, procurement, and compliance teams, you will drive PLM/ERP/MES integration, data traceability, and stakeholder reporting, ensuring readiness for EU and US requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, or related discipline, or experience in Data Architecting preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years relevant Engineering management experience – PMP certification preferred.
• Excellent leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams and report to senior leadership.
• Knowledge and understanding of EU DPP regulation, EU Battery Regulation (EU 2023/1542), EU ESPR.
• Knowledge of PLM systems, data traceability tools, and serialization/QR technology.
• Ability to bridge cross-functional teams, overseeing technical integration and data traceability.
• Familiarity with PLM/ERP/MES systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, development, and implementation of digital systems tracking product lifecycle data for compliance.
• Develop archiving system with unique QR codes and a public portal for data access.
• Define supplier qualification criteria for DPP data provisions and integrate into governance.
• Analyze products for DPP/EPR compliance, including EU ESPR and US obligations.
• Collect DPP data from suppliers via procurement and engineering channels.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet DPP/EPR deadlines and data readiness.
• Integrate DPP/EPR requirements into product lifecycle development.
• Oversee EUBR implementation readiness across data, supplier engagement, and deliverables.
• Support integration with PLM/ERP/MES systems.
• Align data requirements with procurement and product development processes.
• Manage data exchange with external suppliers ensuring traceability.
• Ensure secure information sharing via unique identifiers and decentralized storage.
• Develop and maintain SME level knowledge on DPP/EPR regulations.
