Job summary

TPG is seeking a Data Analytics & Reporting Research Assistant to join the DARL team. You will help build dashboards, automate reporting processes, and support sustainability analytics projects, including emissions accounting and regulatory reporting, while assisting LP engagement efforts.

The internship runs Early January–Mid-May 2027 in the United States (Virginia) with a compensation of $22.50 per hour and a commitment of 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Employment-based immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Must be located in one of the states during the internship (VA listed)
• Graduate student or advanced undergraduate (final year)
• Excellent data analytics skills, including facility with Microsoft Excel and at least one other statistical tool (e.g., VBA, Python, R, SQL)
• Advanced data visualization experience with dashboarding tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Streamlit)
• Experience or interest in responsible investing, climate/sustainability, or related field
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills, fluent in English

Responsibilities

• Create new dashboards and automate reporting processes
• Support sustainability analytics projects and emissions accounting
• Contribute to regulatory reporting and LP engagement initiatives
• Assist with data-focused process improvements and reporting automations
• Coordinate with the DARL team on firm-wide analytics efforts
