Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a Sustainability Data Collection & Analysis Specialist to manage sustainability data, support reporting systems, and drive continuous improvement. You’ll own core data-management processes, ensure data quality, and translate complex data for stakeholders.

You will work with IT and business partners to build dashboards, support audits, and develop new data pipelines as needed. Strong analytical skills and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data analytics, accounting, computer science, information systems, statistics, applied mathematics, environmental science, sustainability, engineering, business, or a related field.
• Two or more years of practical experience in data processing, programming, business intelligence, reporting, accounting, analytics, sustainability data, or a related discipline.
• An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience working with environmental, sustainability, ESG, construction, or operational data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the data aggregator tool, coordinating data, systems, and stakeholder needs.
• Manage ongoing data-aggregator maintenance for data collection and reporting.
• Troubleshoot data-quality, availability, and process issues with data owners and stakeholders.
• Structure, stage, and integrate sustainability data for dashboards, reports, and analytics tools.
• Develop and improve data visualization systems and documentation for audit-ready reporting.
