Job summary

Chord Energy is seeking a Sustainability Analyst in Houston, TX. The role focuses on collecting, validating, and organizing ESG data, and translating it into dashboards and reports using Snowflake, SQL, Power BI, and Sigma. The analyst works cross-functionally with Environmental, Operations, HSE, HR, and Finance teams.

Hybrid work is available, with remote days on Mondays and Fridays. Level and salary are commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field.
0–2 years in a data-focused analyst role, ideally with ESG exposure.
Strong SQL and Snowflake proficiency.
Experience building dashboards in Power BI and Sigma.
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Collect, validate, and organize ESG and sustainability data across source systems.
Build dashboards and visualizations in Power BI and Sigma to track KPIs and executive metrics.
Support the annual Sustainability Report preparation and data validation.
Collaborate with data stewards to close gaps and improve data quality.
Apply AI tools to accelerate data preparation, analysis, and documentation.
Support ESG ratings inquiries and enterprise risk data as needed.
