Job summary

Renewable Careers Limited in New York seeks a Graduate Sustainability Consultant to help clients navigate decarbonization, resource efficiency, and local environmental compliance.

You will work with real estate developers and municipal agencies, benefiting from a structured 18-month mentorship to grow into an autonomous consultant, while building data models and ESG risk analyses for diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Infrastructure, Engineering, Economics or related field.
• Ability to manage large data sets and spot trends in numbers.
• Ability to translate technical metrics into business insights for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compiling and verifying GHG inventories (Scope 1-3) using enterprise sustainability software.
• Coordinate with engineering and architecture teams to analyze building-scale data for LEED/WELL/compliance goals.
• Build data models tracking client resource usage with focus on energy, water, waste.
• Perform market research and benchmarking to identify ESG risks and opportunities.
