What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide coordination support for waste programs across client portfolios, aligning with landfill diversion targets and KPIs
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to implement effective waste initiatives
- Develop and lead multiple waste initiatives while adhering to project timelines and budgets
- Conduct forensic waste audits and identify opportunities for waste diversion
- Draft comprehensive reporting, policies, and training materials related to waste management

What is Required (Qualifications):
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Sustainability or Environmental Engineering)
- Minimum of five years’ experience in sustainable operations or engineering of commercial buildings
- Demonstrated project management experience in achieving zero waste certifications
- Strong data management skills with experience in presenting consolidated reports
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- LEED accreditation and TRUE Zero Waste Advisor accreditation
- Familiarity with sustainability-related certification and benchmarking tools
- Experience working with corporate clients and understanding landlord-tenant relations
- Passion for sustainability and knowledge of key sustainability issues for corporate real estate
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams effectively
