Job summary

Jordan & Skala Engineers is seeking a Sustainability Consultant- Energy Modeler in Houston to own energy modeling workflows and coordinate with project stakeholders through documentation, review, and certification milestones.

You will work on building energy models for diverse facilities, review submittals for compliance, and support teams in achieving high-performance, sustainable design goals across hospitality, commercial, and multifamily projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related field.
• Building Energy Modeling certification (preferred).
• Experience with energy modeling codes and rating systems (IECC, IgCC, ASHRAE).
• Proficiency with energy modeling software listed above.

Responsibilities

• Build, oversee, and review energy models for new and existing projects.
• Develop model documentation and supporting information.
• Perform Life Cycle Cost Analysis as required.
• Support project teams with envelope, HVAC, lighting, water system documentation.
