Job summary
Jordan & Skala Engineers is seeking a Sustainability Consultant- Energy Modeler to own energy modeling workflows and collaborate with project stakeholders across disciplines. You will support documentation, review, and certification milestones for high-performance buildings.
The role focuses on energy modeling for new and existing projects, with opportunities to influence envelope, HVAC, lighting, and related systems while engaging with clients and project teams to meet ambitious sustainability
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related field
- Experience with energy modeling and building systems impact on performance
- Familiar with energy modeling software and rating systems such as IECC/ASHRAE energy codes
Responsibilities
- Build, oversee, and review energy models for new and existing buildings
- Develop energy model documentation and gather supporting information
- Perform Life Cycle Cost Analysis as required
- Support project documentation related to envelope, HVAC, lighting, water, and other systems
