Job summary

Jordan & Skala Engineers is seeking a Sustainability Consultant - Energy Modeler to own energy modeling workflows, coordinate with project stakeholders, and support documentation, review, and certification milestones for diverse building types.

You will collaborate with owners, designers, and contractors to drive high-performance designs and ensure alignment with energy goals, codes, and rating systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Science, or related field.
• Building Energy Modeling certification (preferred).
• Experience with energy modeling codes/standards and rating systems (IECC, IgCC, ASHRAE).

Responsibilities

• Build, oversee, and review building energy models for new construction and existing projects.
• Develop and review energy model documentation and gather supporting information.
• Perform Life Cycle Cost Analysis as required.
• Support project documentation related to envelope, HVAC, lighting, water, and other systems.
