RS&H is seeking a Sustainability Consultant to join our Environmental Stewardship and Resilience (ESR) team in the western United States. This position offers flexibility for hybrid or remote work in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Salt Lake City, or Denver.

Role Overview

As a mid-level consultant, you will provide environmental stewardship, sustainability, and resilience planning, permitting, and consulting services to clients in aviation, transportation, municipal, and private sectors. You will help identify and implement sustainability measures to enhance project resilience and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of relevant consulting experience
• Degree in environmental sciences, engineering, planning, or related field
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and ESRI ArcGIS
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under deadlines

Preferred Skills and Certifications

• ENVISION Sustainability Professional (ENV SP)
• Additional certifications such as C.E.P., C.E., PE, or PG
• Knowledge of NEPA documentation is a plus

The salary range in Seattle is $100,970 to $161,575, commensurate with experience.
