Job summary

Group14 Engineering seeks a Sustainability Project Manager for Colorado projects focused on energy efficiency and affordable housing. You will lead sustainability certifications and manage project scope, schedule, and budgets across multiple sites with a hands-on technical mindset.

The role requires a strong PM background, knowledge of building science, and the ability to work in a hybrid Denver office environment two days a week, with field travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 2+ years of relevant project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of building science principles and green building practices.
• Experience managing scope, schedule, budget, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage NGBS certification for projects from planning through completion.
• Plan and oversee sustainability certification projects for new and existing buildings.
• Perform hands-on field work, including envelope inspections and testing.
• Review drawings and submittals for certification compliance.
• Lead design and construction meetings related to sustainability certifications.
• Prepare reports and project documentation.
