Job summary

AIG is seeking a Sustainability Manager to lead the carbon accounting program, own the GHG inventory, and drive governance for external reporting. The role partners with Operations and Sustainability teams to align the climate strategy with business goals and ensure accurate data and transparent communication across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include managing data quality, vendor relationships, and performance dashboards, while advancing decarbonization initiatives and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Five+ years in corporate sustainability or a related role.
• Knowledge of GHG accounting methodologies and reporting requirements; decarbonization strategies.
• Familiarity with ISSB, GHGP, SBTi, RE100 frameworks is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to simplify technical topics for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern the annual operations GHG emissions inventory and ensure ready-for-external-reporting accuracy.
• Oversee data collection, data quality, and data governance with vendors.
• Develop dashboards and scorecards to track sustainability performance for decision-making.
• Support climate strategy and net-zero initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Translate complex topics into business-relevant messages for leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional projects and manage timelines, risks and deliverables.
