Job summary

AIG Employee Services, Inc. is seeking a Sustainability Manager to lead the company’s carbon accounting program for its US operations.

You will own the GHG inventory, governance, and external reporting readiness, while tracking sustainability performance and supporting climate strategy across the organization. The role requires strong GHG expertise, project management, and the ability to translate technical topics for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of corporate sustainability experience.
• Strong knowledge of GHG emissions accounting, methodologies and reporting requirements, and decarbonization strategies including renewable energy procurement.
• Familiarity with evolving sustainability regulations and disclosure frameworks and standards (ISSB, GHGP, SBTi, RE 100).
• Demonstrated project management skills across multiple priorities and timelines.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to present actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to simplify technical topics for diverse stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate across business lines and stakeholder groups.
• Experience with ESG data providers (MSCI, ISS, CDP, Sustainalytics, Ecovadis) and carbon accounting software.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and Teams.
• Experience with Watershed and Workiva strongly preferred.
• Experience improving processes and change management.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual operations GHG emissions inventory including methodology, boundaries, assumptions and emissions factors.
• Build cross-functional dashboards and scorecards to track sustainability performance.
• Lead engagement strategy and cross-functional program delivery for sustainability initiatives.
• Prepare presentations and disclosures for leadership and external reporting.”
