Job summary

SOCOTEC, Inc. in New York City is seeking a Sustainability Analyst with 1-3 years of experience to join our Green Group within our Energy, Sustainability, and Commissioning Services Division.

This on-site position supports project managers and works on high-profile green projects for real estate developers, design firms, and construction companies. You will assist teams pursuing building certifications, analyze sustainability opportunities, document reports, and contribute to LEED and life-cycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sustainability or related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in building; sustainability focus is desirable.
• LEED GA required; LEED AP or WELL AP is highly desirable.
• Experience documenting LCA for LEED; OneClick LCA experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist project teams in pursuing building certifications.
• Analyze sustainable opportunities in design and construction.
• Document and maintain well-written reports on project activity.
• Train in sustainability/LEED areas and present technical information to teams.
• Provide cross-functional support to meet client needs and timelines.
• Maintain detailed progression from proposal to completion.
