Job summary

SOCOTEC Global seeks an Energy Project Manager to join our Energy Modeling group in New York. You will lead energy analyses for high-profile projects, integrating DOE 2.2 or EnergyPlus and collaborating with developers, design teams, and contractors.

You will develop reports detailing energy efficiency measures, review work, and provide cost-effective recommendations on building performance. This role offers opportunities for growth in a leading sustainability practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years energy analysis experience for US projects.
• PE or RA desirable; knowledge of NY energy code is essential.
• Proficiency with DOE 2.2 or EnergyPlus; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform energy modeling analyses for high-rise and large facilities.
• Model HVAC systems including chilled water, hot water, DX, rooftop units.
• Assemble documentation on modeling methods, assumptions and results.
• Execute energy auditing, benchmarking, data gathering, and measurement & verification.
• Perform energy savings and lifecycle cost analyses of energy measures.
