GSI is seeking an Early to Mid-level Sustainability Analyst to support our clients in advancing their sustainability and climate strategies and disclosures. This role will primarily focus on helping clients meet both voluntary and mandatory reporting requirements, including climate transition and decarbonization planning, GHG accounting, double materiality assessments, CDP reporting, life cycle assessments, and climate-related financial risk reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support client’s sustainability reporting through benchmarking, gap analyses, materiality assessments, desk top research and drafting report content.
- Support client’s sustainability reporting with leading standards and frameworks (GHG Protocol, GRI, IFRS, UNSDGs, ESRS).
- Conduct data analysis and modeling.
- Engage directly with clients, including senior leadership, to provide education on sustainability-related topics, present and discuss your own analytical work and recommendations.
- Draft client deliverables in collaboration with other team members, including sustainability reports, GHG inventories, climate scenario analyses, climate-related financial risk reports, and climate transition plans.
- Contribute to GSI’s thought leadership through promotion with webinars, blogs, and other initiatives.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience with CSRD reporting, GRI, SASB or IFRS, EcoVadis, and CDP.
- Experience with CDP, Life Cycle Assessments, quantitative analysis and modeling.
- Experience with LCA software.
- 2-5 years professional consulting or experience in house.
