Goodwin Recruiting is sourcing a Sush Kitchen Manager for a growing, full-service restaurant in Coral Gables, FL. You will lead a 14-person BOH team, ensure top food safety/quality, and drive inventory and cost controls in a high-volume setting.

This role offers advancement opportunities, Health benefits, 5 days PTO, and significant food discounts. Evening and weekend shifts required, with a focus on leadership and delivering fresh sushi in a dynamic operation.

Qualifications

• Experience with food ordering and inventory management.
• Strong knife skills and sushi experience.
• Knowledge of food and labor cost controls.
• Prior kitchen leadership or head chef experience in a full-service environment.
• New Restaurant Opening experience

Responsabilités

• Oversee and lead the kitchen team of approximately 14 BOH staff.
• Maintain high standards in food preparation, safety, and cleanliness.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls.
• Train and develop team members, contributing to a positive and productive kitchen culture.
• Collaborate with leadership to achieve operational and financial targets.
• Support take-out and delivery operations alongside dine-in service

Sushi Kitchen Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience with food ordering and inventory management
• Strong knife skills and sushi experience
• Knowledge of food and labor cost controls
• Prior kitchen leadership or head chef experience in a full-service environment
• New Restaurant Opening experience
• Leadership experience in a restaurant with high volume to-go and delivery orders.
• Must be able to work evenings & weekends
• Must be able to perform physical duties of the job including prolonged standing and lifting up to 50 lbs.
