Kumori in Weslaco, TX is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team. You will be responsible for preparing high quality dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring sanitation standards are met to deliver a pleasurable dining experience.

You will work with other staff, handle multiple tasks, and help manage food preparation from start to finish. Experience in food service and ability to read recipes are preferred.

This role is non-exempt and reports to the General Manager.

Competenze

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years food service or restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow recipes.

Mansioni

• Maintaining all kitchen equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance.
• Prepares recipes as directed by supervisor.
• Maintains full knowledge of food items.
• Maintains a safe, clean, sanitized, organized, and stocked work area.
• Prepare food items for customers as requested, including special requests, in a timely and consistent manner.
• Check Food before it is served to customers.
• Control and minimize waste.
• Comply with outlined safety regulations and procedures.
• Other duties assigned.
