Zuma Boston is seeking a ZumaSushi Cook to prepare sushi and sashimi with precision, collaborating with the kitchen team to uphold Zuma's standards and deliver an exceptional dining experience.

You'll handle seafood, portion fish, follow recipes, and maintain a clean, organized sushi station. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required to support high-volume service and guest satisfaction. Experience in a fast-paced Japanese or Izakaya setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in sushi preparation techniques including knife skills and seafood handling.
• Experience in high-volume sushi environments preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi and sashimi according to recipes and plating standards.
• Handle and portion seafood including filleting and cutting fish.
• Ensure freshness and proper storage of seafood and ingredients.
• Follow recipes and plating guidelines for consistency and accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and tools.
