Job summary

Flagship Restaurant Group in Phoenix is seeking a Sushi Chef to join our kitchen team. You will prepare sushi and related items, follow recipes, and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment with guest-facing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
• Strong adherence to recipes and food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sushi and related menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Follow allergy procedures and handle guest allergy requests accurately.
• Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored, labeled, rotated and prepared.
• Assist with daily prep, inventory, stock, and ordering for sushi items.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in sushi bar and prep areas.
• Work with kitchen and FOH staff to ensure timely, high-quality service.
• Provide friendly guest interaction when in guest-facing areas.
