Ninja Sushi is hiring full and part-time Sushi Makers at our Airport location in Honolulu, Hawaii. Previous experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Ninja Sushi is accepting applications for full and part-time Sushi Makers at our Airport location. Previous sushi making experience is a plus but not required. Must be very dependable and possess a strong work ethic. For those with a desire to learn, we’ll provide a complete training program with the opportunity for future advancement. Eligible employees may participate in our medical, dental plans and 401k plans.

Requirements / Responsibilities

• Complete opening and closing checklists.
• Prepare a variety of seafood, meats, poultry, vegetables, and other food items for cooking in fryers and/or preparing by hand.
• Understand and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes and cooking methods.
• Adhere to quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area including prep stations, shelves, fryers, microwave oven, freezer, and refrigeration equipment.
• Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement.
• Promptly report equipment and food quality problems to Kitchen Supervisor(s) and Restaurant Manager(s).
• Use our Standard Recipe Handbook for preparing all products.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.
• Prior experience as a Sushi Chef, Sushi Maker, Japanese food, prep cook, line cook is very helpful to the success of the job.
