Join Our Team at Neighborhood Sushi!

Located on Austin's vibrant South Congress Ave., Neighborhood Sushi offers Japanese-inspired dishes in a casual and beautiful setting. The space was formerly home to Lou Lambert's Liberty Pie & Catering, where Larry McGuire began his culinary journey 20 years ago.

We provide an approachable sushi experience with influences of Texas flavors, Japanese design, and Austin hospitality. Our menu features fresh and light soups, salads, and small plates inspired by traditional sushi bar offerings. Enjoy crispy seafood and local vegetable tempura in our Sake Garden overlooking Congress.

Our sushi selections include classic Nigiri such as Japanese Red Snapper, Sea Bream, and Santa Barbara Uni, alongside vegetarian options like Texas Sweet Corn topped with togarashi and serrano. We also serve specialty bites like the Caviar Oyster with Japanese uni, salmon roe, and sake ponzu. Our rolls and hand rolls include unique creations like Fluke with tempura yam and almonds, and Tempura Shrimp with Big Eye tuna and avocado.
