Hai Hospitality in Austin, TX is hiring Sushi Chefs to enrich the dining experience and showcase Japanese cuisine. Sushi Chefs earn $25-$30 per hour and have opportunities to grow with the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate with guests and coworkers.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and standards.
• Lift and carry trays, dishes, equipment, and goods up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Work well in hot and cold kitchen environments.

Responsibilities

• Acquaint yourself with our menu and Japanese cuisine.
• Learn sushi techniques under our Chef teams.
• Understand proper handling and waste reduction of product.
• Interact with guests at the sushi bar; take orders and explain dishes.
• Learn sushi stations and progress your knowledge and skills.
• Collaborate with teams to create dishes for specials and core menu.
