Orbital Kitchens, a New York–based delivery-only, multi-brand kitchen company, is seeking a Sushi Chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can lead in a team setting. You will follow exact recipe procedures for maki, temaki, nigiri, sashimi, poke and crudo, while maintaining top food-safety standards and precise fish fabrication.

AM/PM shifts available; immediate start; $19–$23 hourly. Experience in a New York sushi restaurant is a plus; NYC Food Protection Course Certification

Qualificações

• 3+ years of work in a Sushi restaurant.
• Ability to prepare fish (fishmonger, fish butchery).
• Previous New York restaurant experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
• NYC Food Protection Course Certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Follow exact recipe ingredients and procedures for all sushi items (Maki, Temaki, Nigiri, Sashimi, Poke, Crudo).
• Perform a variety of fish fabrication techniques.
• Maintain the highest standards of Food Safety and Sanitation.
• Cut, chop, slice, and filet different types of produce and proteins.
