Uchiko, a newly opened restaurant in Miami Beach, is hiring Sushi Chefs to enrich the culinary and service experience for guests. You will interact with guests at the sushi bar, take orders, explain dishes, and help craft dishes for specials while learning our sushi stations.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
• Lift and carry trays and goods up to 50 lbs
• Stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen
• Work in hot and cold environments
• Ability to reconfigure seating and move around crowded spaces

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests at the sushi bar; take orders and explain dishes
• Learn sushi stations and advance skills
• Collaborate with teams to create dishes for specials and core menu
• Previous experience in high-volume, guest-facing sushi line preferred
