Under the guidance of the Executive Chef, you’ll refine cutting and rolling techniques, mentor teammates, and contribute to a positive culture of excellence, growth, and teamwork in Tennessee’s premier hospitality group.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of sushi experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of sushi preparation, fish cutting, and rolling techniques.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Standing for long periods.
• Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Team-first mindset with effective communication.
• Growth-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and improve.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute high-quality sushi according to established recipes and standards.
• Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient sushi workstation.
• Demonstrate proper fish cutting and sushi rolling techniques with precision and consistency.
• Prioritize Guest experience by delivering welcoming, professional, and engaging service.
• Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service execution.
• Execute orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining speed and attention to detail.
• Support opening, running, and closing duties to set the team up for success.
• Communicate effectively with leadership and teammates and assist where needed.
• Contribute to a positive, team-first culture by mentoring others and embracing continuous improvement.
