Hai Hospitality Group is seeking a Sushi Chef for Uchi West Hollywood in West Hollywood, CA. This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay ($20.25–$24.00) plus tips, with total compensation estimated at $27–$48 per hour including tips.

You will learn sushi techniques, handle food safely, interact with guests at the sushi bar, and grow within a team-driven, high-volume environment while contributing to menus and specials.

Responsibilities

• Acquaint yourself with our menu, current specials, and Japanese cuisine.
• Learn and perfect your sushi techniques under the guidance of our Chef teams.
• Understand proper handling and waste reduction of product
• Interact with guests at the sushi bar; take orders, explain dishes, and cultivate an amazing experience for guests
• Learn our various sushi stations and progress as your knowledge grows
• Collaborate with our teams to create dishes for specials page and core menu
