Job summary

Onural Group in Palm Springs is seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to join our team. You will prepare sushi rolls and dishes from the sushi bar, interact with customers, and recommend dishes when asked.

A busy sushi restaurant background and advanced knife skills are required. Responsibilities include preparing raw fish, rolling and plating, keeping the workspace clean, coordinating with wait staff, and managing sushi bar inventory and setup for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' sushi chef experience.
• Culinary arts education and training preferred.
• Cooking and sushi-making experience.
• Food handler's card.
• Knife skills.
• Strong communication, time-management, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

Our restaurant needs an experienced Sushi Chef to join our team. You will prepare sushi rolls and dishes from the sushi bar. Our ideal candidate is comfortable with a variety of sushi rolling, plating, and related cooking techniques and has experience working in a busy sushi restaurant. Advanced knife cutting skills and Fish Butchery are a must. We expect our sushi chefs to be friendly and interact with customers, providing recommendations on different dishes when requested.

Sushi Chef Duties and Responsibilities
