Job summary

Preble Street, a leader in anti-trafficking efforts in Maine, is seeking a full-time Caseworker for its Anti-Trafficking Services (ATS) team in Portland. This role involves providing intensive case management, housing-related services, and outreach activities.

The ideal candidate will have a blend of education in social work, relevant experience, and a commitment to low-barrier service provision. Ideal candidates will exhibit effective crisis intervention skills and strong communication abilities. The compensation includes an hourly wage of $23.12 along with generous paid time off and insurance benefits.

Qualifications

• Combination of education or study in social work and experience working with trafficking survivors.
• Understanding of housing-first principles and empowerment approaches.
• Positive regard for individuals fleeing violence and experiencing homelessness.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive case management and housing-related services.
• Facilitate access to supportive services and conduct crisis intervention.
• Document and report on services provided to clients.
