Job summary

Liberty Resources, Inc. seeks an Advocate for the Help Restore Hope Program in Madison County, NY. The Advocate provides crisis intervention, safety planning, and linkages to essential services for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

Responsibilities include on-call crisis coverage, coordination with courts and law enforcement, and culturally competent service delivery. A valid NY driver's license and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent and one year experience with a domestic violence program, community based human services or related field required.
• Must have a valid New York State driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Criminal history clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Hotline coverage and on-call responsibilities; assess medical needs and safety.
• Advocate for survivors with the court system, law enforcement, medical community, and community at large.
• Provide crisis intervention, safety assessment and planning, and referral/linkage to services as needed.
