Job summary

Women Helping Women is hiring a Law Enforcement Advocate to provide direct crisis intervention and advocacy for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. The role includes safety planning, information and referrals, and supporting clients through court processes.

You will maintain accurate records, collaborate with law enforcement, and facilitate survivor groups, all while upholding confidentiality and client-centered goals.

Qualifications

• Active Listening and empathetic support in crisis situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain legal information clearly.
• Crisis intervention and safety planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct crisis intervention and advocacy to survivors of violence.
• Assist with safety planning and connect clients to resources.
• Offer court accompaniment and support group facilitation.
• Maintain confidential client records and relationships with law enforcement.
• Participate in community partner meetings and policy evaluations.
