Job summary

Haddad Plumbing is seeking a Surveyor to join our field and project support team in Columbus, OH. The Surveyor will perform accurate field layout and verification using Trimble survey equipment to support mechanical installation on projects.

Responsibilities include operating Trimble equipment, collaborating with drafters and project managers, verifying elevations and reference points, and maintaining detailed layout records.

Qualifications

• Experience with Trimble survey equipment setup, operation and troubleshooting.
• Minimum of 3 years of surveying experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Job description

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking a Surveyor to join our field and project support team. The Surveyor will be responsible for performing accurate field layout and verification using Trimble survey equipment to support mechanical installation on projects. This role works closely with the Drafter & Layout Manager, drafters, and project managers to ensure all layout points, elevations, and reference data align with approved drawings and project specifications. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, technically skilled, and comfortable working both in an office setting and on active construction jobsites. The Surveyor reports to the Drafter & Layout Manager and plays a critical role in ensuring accurate installation, minimizing rework, and supporting overall project success.

Compensation

$70,000 – $80,000 Annually
