Dewberry is seeking a motivated Surveying Intern for Summer 2027 in the Daphne, AL office. You will join a survey crew assisting in boundary, ALTA, topographic, and development surveys using the latest equipment.

The role offers hands-on field experience under supervision, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and professional growth. You should be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, GIS, or Planning and be ready to travel and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, GIS, or Planning.
• Previous internship experience is a plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass a driving record check.

Dewberry is currently seeking responsible, highly motivated, and detail oriented individuals to join our Daphne, ALoffice as a Surverying Intern for Summer 2027. An Intern Surveyor must be able to work in a team environment as a member of a survey crew assisting in the performance of boundary, ALTA, topographic, right-of way acquisition, transmission line, transportation, land developmentand construction surveys utilizing the latest equipment and surveying technology.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or Civil Engineering, GIS, or Planning
• Previous internship experience is a plus
• Must have good Mathematical skills
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a driving record check
• Must be physically able to work outdoors and on construction sites under all weather conditions; able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work overtime as required
• Must be willing and able to travel for extended periods
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus
