Dewberry is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Birmingham, AL office. The intern will perform assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, applying standard techniques and procedures across related engineering tasks.

Responsibilities include preparing electrical engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings, and specifications to meet project requirements.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering.
  • Previous internship in electrical engineering preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication for fast-paced team work.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT; Excel/Word skills.

Dewberry is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 to join our Birmingham, AL office. This position performs assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

Prepare electrical engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings and specificationsto meet project requirements.

Required Skills & Required Experience
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Previous internship experience in electrical engineering is preferred.
  • Applicants should have exposure torelated electrical engineering design, strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment withmultiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT and good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel required.
