Job summary

Ramaker is seeking a Survey Technician to support survey projects informing design, development, and construction. You will work closely with surveyors, engineers, and other stakeholders to keep assignments moving forward and ensure data accuracy.

Responsibilities include fieldwork, preparing drawings with Civil 3D/AutoCAD, reviewing legal descriptions, processing field data, and supporting boundary/topographic/construction staking.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in surveying or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of hands-on surveying experience including field measurements.
• Experience with Civil 3D for survey drawings, plats, and mapping.
• Familiarity with boundary, topographic, and construction staking workflows.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Experience coordinating with surveyors, engineers, and project teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with land surveying fieldwork and collect accurate site measurements
• Prepare survey drawings, plats, and mapping documents using Civil 3D/AutoCAD software
• Conduct research and review legal descriptions
• Process field data and maintain precise records for project deliverables
• Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, and project teams on active assignments
• Support boundary, topographic, and construction staking surveys as needed
