Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is a nationwide leader in geospatial and construction-phase solutions. You will support field crews with boundary, topographic, and construction surveys, using robotic total stations, GNSS receivers, and scanners. You will maintain clear field notes, read maps, and perform survey computations under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet MVR standards.
• Previous surveying field experience preferred.
• Able to work outdoors year-round in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Support field crew using land survey instruments for boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
• Assist in field surveys under supervision of Crew Chief; report progress and problems.
• Operate land survey equipment including total stations and GNSS receivers.
• Collect geospatial data and perform survey computations with software.
• Read and interpret maps and plans; maintain accurate field notes.
