Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia driver's license and ability to pass a security background check.
• Basic knowledge of various survey procedures.
• Proficiency with CAD skills, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Proficient understanding of Boundary/Right of Way resolution and all associated research.
• Proficient understanding of Topographic Mapping and/or Route Surveys.
• Proficient understanding of field surveying and data collection techniques.
• Proficient skills in all related CAD software(s).
• Proficient knowledge of local, State and County laws governing platting and/or GDOT Survey Manuel.
• Proficient communications and relationship building skills.
• Good technical writing skills.
• When required, work nights and weekends projecting a high level of flexibility.
• Proficient understanding and regular/daily assistance with implementation of Southeast Asia Engineering, Inc. CAD standards and/or GDOT Electronic Data Guidelines (EDG).
• Proficient understanding and regular/daily assistance with implementation of Southeast Asia Engineering, Inc. surveying policies and procedures.
• Proficient understanding of Southeast Asia Engineering, Inc. safety policies and procedures.
• Meet and exceed all Survey Technician 1 requirements.
• Additional duties as assigned.
