Job summary

GRW | engineering | architecture | geospatial is looking to hire a Survey Technician in Lexington, Kentucky. This full-time position involves assisting the Survey Crew Chief with field surveying tasks and requires the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience in boundary, topographic, utility, and route location surveying preferred.
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions is essential.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Survey Crew Chief with field surveying tasks.
• Carry survey gear and lift heavy objects when necessary.
• Participate in data collection for various surveying projects.

GRW Aerial Surveys, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Survey Technician in Kentucky.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Work closely with Survey Crew Chief in the completion of field surveying tasks
• Ability to work outside in a wide variety of weather and terrain conditions
• Ability to carry survey gear and lift heavy objects such as manholes and grates
• Boundary, topographic, utility and route location surveying experience preferred
• Knowledge of GPS, CADD and terrestrial scanning technologies, methods, and software a plus
• Experience with Trimble surveying equipment a plus
• Valid driver's license and travel required
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screenings
