Job summary

OWN, Inc. is expanding its Survey team in the Columbia, MO area and seeks a Survey Technician who will deliver survey work from field to finish and support crews across projects.

You’ll stay close to project performance, perform field calculations, establish and check control to known benchmarks, promote safe, high-quality work practices, and document site conditions and field changes to keep deliverables on track.

We are growing our Survey team in the Columbia, MO area and looking for a Survey Technician.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in delivering survey work from field to finish, supporting crews, staying close to projects, and helping ensure things run smoothly across the board.

Along The Way, You’ll

• Stay close to project performance (scope, schedule, budget)
• Perform field calculations, establish and check horizontal and vertical control, and ensure proper reference to known benchmarks.
• Promote safe, efficient, and high-quality work practices
• Conduct field QC reviews to confirm completeness and accuracy of collected data.
• Document site conditions, photos, and any field changes or discrepancies that could impact project deliverables.
