Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking a Survey Project Manager (RPLS) for our Austin-based surveying partner. You will lead land survey projects from scope through deliverables, coordinating ALTA/NSPS surveys, plats, and design surveys, while aligning with agencies and design engineers.

The role requires Texas RPLS, 10–15 years of management experience, CAD proficiency, and a proven ability to manage field crews and client communications.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and related plats.
• Examine records and evidence to ensure data accuracy.
• Process field data from survey teams.
• Review title commitments.
• Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for easements and licenses.
• Manage land survey projects with minimal supervision.
• Build strong client and team relationships for effective communication.
• Plan and schedule field crews.
• Work independently with excellent written and verbal communication.

Survey Project Manager (RPLS)

Impact Recruitment has partnered with a surveying firm that is located in Austin, Texas looking for a Survey Project Manager (RPLS). They work with agencies and design engineers on a wide range of projects, such as topographic design and boundary surveys of all sizes, roadway design, right-of-way acquisition, utility facilities design, water/wastewater projects, drainage and flood studies, streambank stabilization, dam safety surveys, tree surveys, as-built surveys, aerial mapping control, and construction verification and staking.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Land Surveying license in Texas (RPLS)
• 10-15 years of experience in management
• CAD background and history in municipal, design topo and boundary Surveying

Responsibilities

• Preparation and coordination of ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys; Land Survey Plats; Subdivision Plats; Topographic and Design Surveys; etcetera.
• Examine previous records and evidence to ensure data accuracy.
• Processing of field data from the survey field team.
• Reviewing and addressing Title Commitments.
• Preparation and coordination of Legal Descriptions and Exhibits for Easements; License Agreements; etc.
• Managing land survey projects with minimal supervision and oversight.
• Building positive relationships with clients and co-workers to ensure effective communication.
• Management and scheduling of field crews.
• Ability to work independently, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
