Impact Recruitment in Houston, Texas is seeking a motivated Survey Manager – Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to lead our client's surveying team. You will manage land surveys, prepare maps, and ensure regulatory compliance.

This role requires an Active Texas PLS license, strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills, and a track record directing field crews. You will oversee schedules, budgets, and coordinate with engineering teams to deliver precise, compliant results.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active Texas Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license required.

Impact Recruitment is seeking a motivated and driven Survey Manager – Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to join our client's team in Houston, Texas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate land surveys and investigations
• Prepare Topographic Maps, Boundary Adjustments, Subdivision Maps, Records of Survey, and Legal Descriptions
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including boundary calculations and legal ownership requirements
• Oversee project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery
• Serve as an advisor to engineering teams regarding projects, tasks, and operational needs
• Apply standard land surveying concepts, practices, and procedures with professional judgment
• Perform complex boundary and topographic surveying and mapping tasks
• Lead, direct, and mentor field survey crews and survey technicians
• Demonstrate creativity and independent judgment in problem-solving

Required Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines

Education & Licensure
