Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in Miami/Fort Lauderdale seeks a Survey Project Manager to lead survey/geospatial projects from field to deliverables. You will supervise crews, coordinate with clients, and drive project proposals and invoicing.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years’ experience, familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation, and the ability to generate revenue through existing clients and new business development.

Overview

Are you a licensed surveyor or experienced survey leader ready to take charge of high-impact projects across land development, infrastructure, and construction? As a Survey Project Manager, you'll lead teams, coordinate with clients, and ensure technical accuracy from the field to final deliverables. You’ll oversee a wide range of survey services, mentor rising talent, and collaborate with some of the best minds in AEC.

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a PLS with experience in the private market and experience working on DOT/private projects in Miami or Fort Lauderdale, FL!

Join our Survey/Geospatial team, which offers a full range of survey and geospatial data and mapping services that enable us to collect data faster, safer, and more accurately than ever before. Collect data from the air, ground and subsurface to provide precision data interpretation with us and accelerate YOUR success to become tomorrow’s industry leader.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage survey/geospatial projects including:

• Client Communication (internal and external).
• Project Proposal Preparation & Invoicing.
• Overseeing 2 or more Survey Crews.
• New Business Development combining existing clients with Colliers Engineering & Design’s diverse Land Survey & Measurement Service lines which include: 3D High Definition Laser Scanning, Mobile Lidar Mapping, Rail Surveying, GPS and Conventional Surveys.

Qualifications

• Florida State Professional Land Surveyor License preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation.
• 10+ years of experience in all areas of the job description.
• Must be able to generate revenue through existing client base and new business development.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
