Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager to oversee survey projects from proposal through completion. You will lead field crews and CAD staff, ensure quality control, and build strong client partnerships on land development and infrastructure projects.

The role requires a Professional Land Surveyor license, 10+ years in surveying, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, Trimble/Leica equipment, and 3D scanning.

Qualifications

• Must hold Professional Land Surveyor License.
• 10+ years of survey experience across projects.
• Strong knowledge of field survey operations and construction.
• Ability to generate revenue from existing clients and new business.
• Strong knowledge of property lines and ROW.

In this pivotal role, you’ll oversee survey projects from proposal through completion: driving accuracy, efficiency, and client success every step of the way. Responsibilities

• Client Communication (internal and external).
• Project Proposal Preparation & Invoicing.
• Oversight of field and office teams, comprised of project surveyors, cad technicians, and field crews.
• New Business Development combining existing clients with Colliers Engineering & Design's diverse Land Survey & Measurement Service lines which include: 3D High Definition Laser Scanning, Mobile Lidar Mapping, Rail Surveying, GPS and Conventional Surveys.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of field survey operations, along with a deep knowledge of the engineering and construction industry.
• Possess a strong technical background in conventional survey and remote sensing technologies.
• Strong property line/R.O.W. experience.
• NYC public agency experience a plus.
• Professional Land Surveyor License required.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microstation.
• Experience with Trimble and/or Leica equipment and software.
• Experience in projects utilizing 3D scanning a plus.
• 10+ years of experience in all areas of the job description.
• Must be able to generate revenue through existing client base and new business development.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
• A valid drivers license is required.

Compensation: $95,000 to $153,000 per year (depending on qualifications)
