Job Details

• Salary Range: $75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr (based on experience)

Responsibilities

• Assist the Department Head in preparing proposals, estimates, presentations, employee evaluations, and the recruiting process.
• Utilize SIT or LS licenses.
• Proficiency in CAD, Least Squares Reduction, and other Survey Software.
• Experience with GIS platforms, Robotic Total Stations, GPS, scanners, drones, and emerging technologies.
• Register as a Land Surveyor in Georgia or become registered within a year.
• Manage various types of surveys including ALTA, route/database, boundaries, topographical, inventories.
• Coordinate with office staff and clients.
• Create and manage project budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Participate in pre-survey planning meetings.
• Follow local, state, and federal survey regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Professional Land Surveyor license in Georgia (other states desirable).
• GDOT experience required.
• 10+ years managing survey projects; 8+ years in land surveying.
• SIT license; 107 Remote Pilot’s Certification is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Carlson, LiDAR, TopoDOT, Pix4D, MicroStation/Open Roads Design, and SUE process.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
