Job summary

McKim & Creed, Inc. in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Survey Project Manager to prepare proposals, contracts, and reports, meet with clients, perform field work, and supervise in-office and field staff.

You will manage scope, schedule, and fees; recruit and mentor staff; develop client relationships; negotiate complex issues; and apply surveying expertise using AutoCAD/Civil3D and MicroStation. Leadership, quality and community-focused work are essential.

Qualifications

• Louisiana PLS Survey License, PSM or the ability to obtain LA licensure quickly, if licensed in another state.
• 2-5+ years of post-licensure experience.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel as well as Autocad/Civil3D.
• A valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals, contracts and reports; meet with clients and supervise field and office staff.
• Develop scope of work, schedule and fee; balance workload and resources; support business development.
• Recruit, hire, mentor and retain staff to deliver projects on time, within budget and scope.
