Job summary

BKF, a multi-service infrastructure consulting firm, seeks a Survey Project Assistant to support the Land Surveying team. You will work with Project Managers to keep contracts and documentation on track, schedule field resources, and ensure timely client communication in Deltek.

The role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and collaboration across BKF offices, with periodic travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in a project assistant, project coordinator, or administrative support role (AEC/engineering/surveying industry experience preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfort learning new systems; Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Survey Project Managers with project administration, including change orders, contract documentation, and accounts receivable follow-up.
• Coordinate and help schedule field crews, including tracking availability and site access.
• Coordinate badging, site access, and onboarding requirements for field staff and visitors.
