CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Survey Party Chief / Senior Pilot Surveyor in McDonough, GA to lead drone-based land surveying for residential, commercial, municipal, and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of land surveying experience.
• 1+ years as Survey Crew Chief, Party Chief, or Field Supervisor.
• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate preferred.
• Experience operating drones/UAS for surveying, mapping, or geospatial applications.
• Proficiency with GPS, total stations, and data collectors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a 2-3 person survey field crew on land surveying projects.
• Conduct boundary, topographic, construction layout, ALTA/NSPS, and FEMA elevation surveys.
• Operate drones/UAS platforms to capture survey and mapping data.
• Utilize GPS, total stations, and data collectors to gather field information.
• Interpret survey plans, legal descriptions, deeds, plats, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with office survey staff, contractors, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Document field notes, sketches, asset tracking data, and survey deliverables.
• Ensure field operations are performed safely and in compliance with surveying standards.

Pay: $30 - $40

seeking an experienced Senior Pilot Surveyor / Survey Party Chief to lead drone-based land surveying operations supporting residential, commercial, municipal, and infrastructure projects. This role combines traditional land surveying expertise with cutting-edge UAV technology.

The ideal candidate will bring strong field leadership experience, expertise operating survey equipment, deep knowledge of land surveying practices, and hands-on experience utilizing FAA Part 107-certified drone technology in surveying applications.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead and manage a 2-3 person survey field crew on land surveying projects
• Conduct boundary, topographic, construction layout, ALTA/NSPS, and FEMA elevation surveys

What You Need For This Job

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 75 pounds
